Dylan's Way, parasitizing public space

A bar especially thought for tourists. The main concept of this work is based on the verb parasitize: tourists parasitizes spaces, and so does this bar. Because of that it is also constantly moving as its clients.

The movement issue is easily solved by the use of a van but it is also important the connection with the environment and the travelling atmosphere. The client is absolutely connected with its environment as any kind of barrier is eliminated since the idea was to improve the tourist experience by creating a relaxing space in direct contact with the site he/she is visiting.

The atmosphere is a mix of cultures from the design of the terrace to the van. Umbrellas are done with fabrics that come from different parts of the world. The carpets are also a mix of countries and many exotic woods are also joined with local wood.
